These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website at studios.recordflipp.com and any booking you make with Recordflip Studios. By booking a session or making a payment, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Recordflip Studios is a sole proprietorship operated by Haziq Showkat, located at Zakura, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir 190006, India. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “the studio” refer to Recordflip Studios. “You” refers to the person or company booking a session.

2. Our services

We provide professional recording studio time, recording engineering, mixing, mastering, music production, sound design and audio post-production, podcast and voice-over recording. Services are described on our pricing page and services page.

3. Bookings

• Booking requests made on the website are not confirmed automatically. Our team reviews each request and confirms availability, usually within four business hours.
• A booking is confirmed only when we send you written confirmation.
• When you book, you pay a non-refundable reservation advance of ₹200 online, unless our Cancellation & Refund Policy says otherwise. The advance is deducted from your total bill.
• You pay the balance at the studio on the day of your session.

4. Prices and payments

Prices are as stated on our pricing page or in your written quote. Payments are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card or bank details. Your use of Razorpay is also subject to Razorpay’s own terms.

5. Session conduct

• Please arrive at the time of your booking. Late arrival may shorten your session, and we cannot extend the session beyond the booked time.
• You are responsible for any damage to studio equipment or property caused by you or your guests, beyond normal wear and tear. You will be charged for the repair or replacement cost.
• Guests are welcome only if they follow studio rules and do not disrupt sessions.
• We may end a session without refund if you behave in a way that is abusive, unsafe or unlawful.

6. Your content and ownership

You keep full ownership of the music, lyrics, recordings and other material you bring to the studio. We do not claim ownership of your work. You confirm that you have the rights to all material you provide, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

We will not publish or showcase your work without your written permission.

7. Deliverables

Digital deliverables (such as stems, mixes or masters) are sent by email or download link. We aim to deliver them within 24 hours of session completion, unless your package or project brief sets a different timeline. We do not ship physical media unless agreed in writing.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are covered in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost earnings or missed release dates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

10. Website use

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to disrupt the website, gain unauthorised access to it, or copy its content for commercial use without our permission.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its “last updated” date, applies to bookings made after that date.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith between you and us. If it is not resolved, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India.
